An emergency may include circumstances where injury to life and or serious damage to property are threatened, such as a flood or electric failure or shock risk, additionally full outage/ loss of heat and hot water and substantial leak of any form from the Heat Interface Unit (HIU) will be considered as an emergency.

Our office hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturdays 8am to 1pm, during which we are able to deal with general enquiries. Our Customer Services department can assist with registration, account, billing and technical enquiries during these times.

If you choose to come to the Visitor Centre to register your account with us please do arrive at least 30 mins prior to our closing time to ensure that you have ample time to complete the necessary forms before we shut.

Please note: if you require disabled access please contact us on 0800 999 3080 before you visit us at the Metering and Billing Office, so that we can provide you with alternative directions to the Office and offer you further assistance if it is required.

Please note that we have NO parking at our offices. There is limited street parking nearby. If you have a SatNav please use the postcode E9 5EN. This will bring you to White Post Lane where you can park. You will then need to walk up White Post Lane in the direction of the canal – you may see the Olympic Stadium in front of you. As soon as you cross the bridge over a canal, turn right down a slope to the canal towpath. Once on the towpath, turn sharp right and continue back under the bridge along the towpath. About 15 meters past the bridge you will see a grey door. Please press the buzzer to enter.

Take the London Overground service to Hackney Wick. Walk down the ramp and at the bottom, turn left. You will pass an old (closed) pub called The Lord Napier, turn immediately left onto White Post Lane. Continue around and turn left at the end. Walk up a slight hill until you come to a bridge over a canal. As soon as you cross the bridge, turn right down a slope to the canal towpath. Once on the towpath, turn sharp right and continue back under the bridge along the towpath. About 15 meters past the bridge you will see a grey door. Please press the buzzer to enter.
